Carrollton Station Feeder Bands on the Run

After Hurricanes Katrina swept through Louisiana, you knew that the people down there were going to write songs about it. Eric Orlando decided to ask some of his favorite musician friends to submit their hurricane songs. This CD is great. Mark Miller and Caleb Guillote, Eric Orlando, Paul Sanchez, Susan Cowsill, John Gros, Theresa Andersson, Fred Leblanc, and many others showcase their amazing song writing skills. Songs with titles like "Rainy Day " by Peabody , "A Few Days" by Ron Hotstream, and "Oh Katrina" by Anders Osborne capture the feelings and agony of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the failure of the levees. The money raised by the sales of this CD are given to local musicians to help them return to the city of New Orleans. This is a must buy. 5 out of 5 fleur de lis.
